DTN COMMENTS: A few deals have been reported in Nebraska at midday at 
$352, $10 higher than last week's record-breaking weighted average. 
Asking prices for cattle left on showlists are around $219-plus in the 
South, and $352-plus in the North. A light trade took place late 
yesterday afternoon that had Northern dressed deals marked at $340 to 
mostly $350, $8 higher than last week's weighted averages. Southern live 
business was marked at mostly $218, $5 to $6 higher than last week's 
weighted averages. 

Beef cutouts are mixed at midday (choice 342.74 -2.57, select 324.54 
+2.52) with light to moderate box movement (48.23 lds of choice cuts, 
8.02 lds of select cuts, 7.88 lds of trim, and 7.28 lds of ground). Live 
cattle futures at the top of the noon hour are mixed, mostly moderately 
lower, while feeder issues are mostly sharply lower.
